This product will be folded for delivery, so will require ironing upon receipt before using for freehand to get the best finish for your stitch artwork
 
I choose this fabric to sell on my website as it is suitable for freehand machine embroidery, for the following reasons: 
 
It is heavy weight which means it can take heavier and tighter stitching
It has a tight weave with a very flat finish
Due to the fabric being a true white rather than off white, it is great as a background as  it shows off black or coloured cottons better than the off-white of calico. The same is true for applique projects. 
It is easy to iron creases out, especially any hoop marks after sewing
