The full set comes with a photographic print out of my Great Great Grandparents plate that the design was based upon. This can be used as reference as you sew or to simply for you to see the origins of the design idea.

You simply follow the illustrated lines to create your own personalised table setting set
Please ensure you use new thread that has been pre tested before sewing to ensure the thread doesn't run. I would recommend polyester or polycotton with a matching bobbin in your choosen colour.
I would recommend that you stitch the designs in two sizes of wooden hoop with tear away stabiliser behind. Carefully cut out around the edge when you have finished stitching. Remove any large pieces of stabiliser from the back and gently hand wash to ensure the thread colours do not run. Once dry, iron with a medium heat, pressing firmly with a protective cloth above.
I would suggest either stiching around the edge to prevent from fraying or using a fray stop fabric glue before use
I would advise you to choose a thick felt backing for each of the pieces, lightly tacked into place for easy snipping away and removal before washing.
Alternatively, you could cut out and laminate cardboard for the bases and once again, lightly tack or lightly glue in place.
This product is designed for light use and not every day use due to its delicate nature
Please note, due to different printing companies producing the differently sized prints, there is a variation in the tone of the background, but once the designed have been stitched and cut out, you would have to very closely to notice.
